Namecheap Web Hosting Features

Namecheap web hosting review - cPanel

Namecheap web hosting comes with an array of features designed to meet your website hosting needs, Namecheap offers everything from an easy-to-use cPanel to a free website builder, softaculous (for easy CMS installations), domain registration, and free hosting migration.

One of the features I also love about Namecheap web hosting is its ability to provide every new domain registered with a free SSL for one year. This means you don’t need to worry about paying for SSL for your first year of registering a domain.

Their cPanel is another cool area I enjoy, it is very easy to use and navigate. On the cPanel, you don’t need to be a pro to easily navigate and locate what you are looking for. Whether you want to quickly set up your domain emails, and your site security, install a new CMS, or backup your content, you can do all of this with ease from the cPanel.

Namecheap Security:

If you are worried about the security of your site, — Namecheap has got you covered. Their hosting plans include SSL certificates, daily backups, and 24/7 customer support to ensure your website stays safe and secure at all times. From my experience, I believe their customer support works round the clock because there has never been a time I contacted their support without a response, whether it’s the middle of the night or early hours of the morning. This is one thing that has really made me stick with Namecheap. And to make it even more interesting, the support is ready to always assist you with even the simplest tasks.

Storage and Bandwidth

  • Shared Hosting: The shared hosting comes with a minimum of 20GB SSD for the Stellar Plans and a Maximum of 50GB SSD for the Stellar Business Plan. The Bandwidth for the 3 pans found in the shared hosting is Unmetered. Although they promise unlimited hosted domains for the Stellar Plus and Stellar Business, — from my experience, you can only host up to 10 domains on the Plus plan and about 20 domains on the Business plan, this is because of the file inode limits of the plans.
  • WordPress Hosting: Their WordPress hosting is dedicated to those who just want hosting that’s only for their WordPress site. — No side distractions. It also has 3 main hosting plans which are EasyWP Starter, EasyWP Turbo, and EasyWP Supersonic. While the EasyWP Starter comes with 10 GB SSD storage and can accommodate 50k visitors/month, the EasyWP Supersonic gives you 100 GB SSD storage and can accommodate 500k visitors/month. This is great for people looking to establish a bigger WordPress site or blog.
  • VPS Hosting: The Namecheap VPS hosting is one of the cheapest I have seen on the market. It has 3 major plains with different pricing. The cheapest plan is the Pulsar starting at $6.88/month followed by the Quasar plan which is at $12.88/month, and then you have the Magnetar plan which is around $24.88/month. Depending on your plan, you can get up to 8 CPU cores, 12 GB RAM, 240 GB SSD RAID 10 Storage, and 6000 GB bandwidth.
  • Dedicated Hosting: Namecheap’s dedicated hosting plan is a great choice for large-scale businesses looking for optimum performance for their online presence. The dedicated hosting has 6 tier plans with the Xeon E3-1240 v3 being the minimum plan starting at $41.88 monthly. — You get a dedicated CPU with 4 cores @ 3.4 GHz, 8 GB DDR3, 2 x 1 TB HDD, and 100 TB/month Bandwidth. The max tier plan is the Dual Xeon Silver 4310T which provides you with a dedicated CPU with 2 x 10 cores @ 2.3 GHz, 64 GB DDR4, 2 x 2 TB NVMe, 500 GB Backup Storage, and Unmetered Bandwidth

Alright, so we have seen all the different hosting plans that Namecheap web hosting provides. There is just no way you won’t find the type of hosting you want for your online business with Namecheap, especially when you compare their pricing with others. With Namecheap providing all these amazing features at such an affordable price point, it’s clear why they are a top choice for many website owners.

Performance And Uptime Of Namecheap Web Hosting

I can’t stress enough how important performance and uptime are when it comes to web hosting. I mean, who wants a website that’s slow or constantly experiencing downtime? That’s why I was really impressed with the performance and uptime of Namecheap web hosting. From my experience, they’ve consistently delivered fast loading times and reliable uptime, which has been crucial for keeping my websites and my client’s sites up and running smoothly.

One thing that really stood out to me was the impressive speed of my website since switching to Namecheap web hosting. It’s like night and day compared to my previous host. Yeah, at some point, I took a random review from my visitors about the uptime and load speed of my site, and they mentioned how much faster everything loads, I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in search engine rankings as well. Plus, knowing that my site is always available for visitors gives me peace of mind.

In addition to their top-notch performance, Namecheap also provides excellent uptime. I rarely experience any downtime with them, which is a huge relief for me. It’s such a great feeling knowing that all the sites I have hosted with Namecheap are accessible 24/7 without any interruptions. And trust me, this kind of reliability makes all the difference for both myself and my visitors. Now let’s talk about their pricing and plans. Although I have mentioned some earlier, I will be going a bit more detailed here.

Customer Support And User Experience With Namecheap Web Hosting

Did you know that 94% of users rate customer support as one of the most important factors when choosing a web hosting provider? Well, let me tell you about my experience with Namecheap’s customer support and user experience. First off, I have to say that their customer support team is top-notch. Whenever I’ve had an issue or question, they’ve been quick to respond and incredibly helpful. I mean, they literally work around the clock.

One thing that really stood out to me was the live chat feature on their website. It’s so convenient to be able to get in touch with someone right away, rather than having to wait on hold or send an email and then wait for a response. The representatives are always friendly and knowledgeable, which makes dealing with any technical issues much less stressful.

Overall, my user experience with Namecheap has been excellent. Their interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple for even beginners to manage their websites. Plus, they offer a variety of tools and resources that have been really beneficial for optimizing my site.
